🌸Long caption alert🚨One thing that has really helped me in life is how I have structured the way I think. I don’t allow negative thoughts and I run as fast as my legs could carry me from negative people. For example, In this part of the world where I live, some people willingly exclude themselves from some roles because they “think” the job is high spec’ and they wouldn’t be considered due to their skin colour😳, some are victims of the people they surround themselves with and attempting some career moves is considered “over ambitious” so they settle for less. For these people, I say your battle ground is your Thought Process. Period! Your thoughts can become strongholds and your life always moves in the direction of your strongest dominant thought. Think Positive! Speak Positively too! Surround yourself with people who will tell you ‘Yes you can do it’. You are enough!🌸 . . . . Been inspired by the awesome @thelittlemagpie (seriously she’s an account to follow whatever your age as her style and chat is great! I’m a huge fan) to post a throwback from a happy vacay. I took this last year on one of our best family holidays in Gran Canaria. We didn’t know what to expect but the @lopesancostameloneras was fabulous (our friends Rachel & Paul @mctavishcollection had been the year before and gave it the thumbs up so we booked) and we had the best of times. No summer holiday this year but that’s probably just as well as these @hm shorts would look more like (not so) hot pants on me at the moment. Thinking October might be a possibility for a break in sunnier climes so that gives me a fighting chance to get back into wearing these shorts well… . . . . #sincerelyyourssusiestyle #throwbackfriday #vacaystyle #over50style #justmystyle #womenwithstyle #midlifeinstyle #holidaylook #hmxme #zaraaddict #drscholls #chloebag #sunnyselfie #scottishstyleblogger #45plusstyle #bestagerstyle #igerstyle #over40lifestyle #reallifeandstyle #reallifeblogger
