If you haven’t seen the acronym CBD, then you must have been living under a rock. Dubbed the ‘holy grail’of well-being, Cannabidiol (CBD), a compound found in the cannabis plant, has recently burst onto the beauty scene in a multitude of forms.

From cleansers and oils, to moisturisers, face masks and even fake tan, CBD can now be found in pretty much any skincare product you can think of. In fact, the UK’s CBD market is now currently valued at £300million.

The wash

Your skin will thank you, as this hand and body gel wash is a little bit of luxury. It should effectively purify and balance the skin without drying it out, thanks to added amino acids and glycerin.

It’s fine for use on all skin types, and especially sensitive. It can even be used for an aromatic foaming bath – just pump the product under running water.

The serum

Promising to rejuvenate the skin and show off a naturally healthy complexion, this brightening skincare treatment has antioxidant-rich ingredients. It’s said to help calm areas of irritation thanks to the inclusion of omega-rich cannabis sativa seed oil.

It also works to minimise dryness and fine lines. It’s a lightweight oil, suitable for normal, dry and combination skin.

The mask

Formulated with cannabis derived oils, this twist-up mask should help to thoroughly hydrate and balance your skin, all the while soothing any sensitive spots thanks to aloe.

Glycerin, a humectant, draws in water from the air to form a protective barrier for your face. And, kaolin clay is supposed to pull out impurities buried deep in your pores. It only needs five minutes to work its ‘magic’.

The tan
