The English Game is brand new to Netflix and follows the origins of modern football including the first ever professional player – Glasgow born Fergus Suter. It’s written by Downton Abbey’s Julian Fellowes so you know it’s going to be good!

Friday Night Dinner
This comedy (which focuses on a family trying to sit down together for dinner but chaos always follows) is a great one for any family that always find themselves in a spot of drama too. Plus, episodes are less than half an hour long and the new season started at the end of March. Perfect binge-watching show!

Call The Midwife
The show follows the midwifes of East London in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Based at Nonnatus House, the midwifes must navigate the changes happening in Poplar, the early days of the NHS and more. All while delivering healthy babies and helping mothers across London. It’s a tear-jerker.
