Foodies have something seriously special to look forward to this May…
The Blythswood Square Hotel, Glasgow’s only five star hotel, have announced exciting plans for their new dining venue, Bo & Birdy.
The existing Blythswood restaurant closed in February for a £1 million make-over to create a super stylish space that combines a relaxed vibe with luxurious finishings in rich, earthy tones.
The restaurant will also showcase a ‘farm to fabulous’ identity with the menu celebrating the finest quality Scottish produce as well as some bold flavour combinations. Executive head chef, Gillian Matthews, who is the first female 5-star hotel executive chef in Scotland, said, “I’m delighted to welcome clients old and new to join myself and the team at the new Bo & Birdy restaurant. Our distinctive menu has been created to present the best of Scottish produce in what I believe will be a truly modern twist on favourite and traditional recipes.”
Opening on 15th May, Bo & Birdy will also offer a wide array of drinks options in the newly refurbished bar, so whether you fancy an aperitif or a three course meal, get this new venue on your dining bucket list!
