This popular bar in Glasgow’s west end is set to host a Game of Thrones hog roast on Saturday 11th May from 7pm.

The team invite guests to enjoy a night of: “King makers, blood feuds, despotic queens, so drink, eat things and hold the door!”

Tickets are £34 with costumes strongly encouraged.

Pop Up Geeks

The Pop Up Geeks themed cocktail experience is back in Edinburgh and this time they are celebrating all things Game of Thrones.

Their Blood and Wine series includes Wines of the Seven Kingdoms wine tasting events on Sunday 14th April and their ongoing drinks inspired by ice and fire, which ends on Sunday 26th May.

The team say: “Our Maesters have sifted through scrolls, trawled through parchments and painstakingly sampled the many wines, ales and spirits within the pages of George R.R Martin’s ‘A Song of Ice and Fire‘ series to source the finest that Westeros and Essos have to offer.”

Guests are invited to join in to celebrate the long awaited final, and are encouraged to binge watch the previous seasons in preparation.

Tickets are free, and the event is from 7.30pm in Bar Varia.
