Calling all fashion fans! Kate Spade is ready to take the Scottish shopping scene by storm…
Next week Kate Spade’s first ever Scottish store is opening its doors in Princes Square!
From Tuesday 2nd April onwards, customers will now be able to shop their designer favourites without having to shop online or visit the London store.
And, the best part of the store opening, is that the first 50 customers who buy an item get a GOODY bag. Result!
The store, which will feature rose gold and blush pink decor, is set to offer everything from handbags, fashion accessories, jewellery, watches, footwear, eyewear and gifts.
The Glasgow store, the eighth Kate Spade shop to open in Europe, is joining Paris, Tokyo and New York as one of Kate Spade’s locations, under creative director, Nicola Glass.
She said: “We’re incredibly proud to be unveiling our new vision for the Kate Spade New York store experience in Glasgow. Our brand and everything we make are a celebration of women – their personal style, confidence and realness. I’ve seen so much opportunity to evolve the brand since I started, and for me this new retail vision is a much more modern expression of our original DNA and personality.
“Ultimately, my goal as creative director is to create a vision and develop collections that the original customer, the current customer, and, very importantly, a new customer will find extremely covetable. We’re excited to be sharing our vision of optimistic femininity with the Scottish consumer.”
Andrew Foulds, portfolio director for Redevco (owners of Princes Square) said: “Kate Spade New York’s arrival at Princes Square is a landmark for Scotland’s retail sector. This truly global fashion and lifestyle brand is renowned for setting trends that others follow so we are delighted to be home to its first high street boutique in the UK outside London and to join Tokyo, Paris and New York on its list of international locations.”
