There are a whole host of reasons that we love the festive season such as the best parties of the year, excuses to dress up, gorgeous gifts, catching up with loved ones, but most crucially, the Christmas food!
As we all know, Christmas dinner is the best meal of the year, but that’s not the only thing that’s getting us in a festive foodie frenzy. Over the next couple of months everywhere from coffee shops and restaurants to supermarkets and take-aways will be releasing their exclusive Christmas collections and our mouths are watering just thinking about these amazing limited edition treats!

1. Holidays are Coming
Holidays are indeed coming and Coca-Cola are celebrating with the launch of the limited edition Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Cinnamon. Bringing a touch of festive warmth to the classic favourite, this is set to be the flavour of the season but it’s only available until the end of the year so stock up!
2. Winter Warmer
It is officially hot chocolate season and Costa have released their menu for the festive period. Launching on 1st November, the coffee chain has revealed that they will be bringing some very exciting new options to their menu including caramalised orange and cream flavoured syrup, hazelnut praline and cream syrup and Little Luxuries, which are indulgent cups of thick chocolate or caramel. As well as festive hot drinks, Costa have also put a festive spin on their food menu with pigs in blanket macaroni cheese and the Ultimate Christmas Toastie – we can’t wait!
3. Meat Treat
Lidl’s Christmas offering has really blown our minds this year but one of the products that really caught our eye is the new bone marrow pie. During baking, the marrow in the bone melts into the body of the pie making it super rich and delicious, the perfect Christmassy supper.
4. Crowd-Pleasing Pastry
Greggs recently confirmed that they would indeed be bringing the famous Festive Bake back for 2018 AND that everyone will be able to get their hands on it from 8th November. The puff pastry treat will be stuffed with chicken breast, sage and onion stuffing, sweet cure bacon and sage and cranberry sauce.
5. Sweet Couple
Considered by many to be the Kings of the Christmas Menu, Marks & Spencer have come up trumps with another amazing array of fabulous festive food. There is a whole host of new treats available but one of our favourites has got to be Jolly & Holly , a super tasty dessert of cocoa sponge, chocolate ganache and salted caramel mousse all beautifully decorated in a white glaze, it even serves 6!
6. Festive Fizz
If you are going to be the hostess with the mostest this festive season, Aldi are making all of your Christmas dreams come true! This year the supermarket will be offering a Methuselah of prosecco – that’s a whopping 6 litres of fizz! Waitrose is on a mission to ensure your Christmas dinner table is as festive as possible this year and these tasty little potato rosti trees are the perfect finishing touch!
