To celebrate No.1′s 10th birthday, we will be bringing you a Hot Scot each day. Next up, Andy Murray…

ANDY MURRAY, tennis player
Born: Dunblane
Age: 28

Ten years ago, the tennis ace was first ranked the British Number One Seed, just a year after turning professional! He was just 18 at the time. Since then he has gone on to win a number of other major titles, tournaments and Opens – including his career highlight of a Wimbledon win in 2013 – putting Scotland, and his hometown of Dunblane, firmly on the map. Now married and a new Dad, Andy continues to play tennis at the highest level. We are proud to call Andy Murray Scottish, and feel he deserves winning another title – Hot Scot!
