The soul songstress has denied that she’s split up with husband Blake Fielder-Civil in a statement made to a paparazzo camped outside her house. The troubled star reportedly asked the photographer to tell people at the papers to stop writing lies about her. This strange behaviour follows a series of photographs and stories in the tabloids that claim she has been spotted kissing other men whilst her husband of a year is in prison for perverting the course of justice.

Stories had even emerged that Amy had dumped him and that Blake was demanding a £3 million divorce settlement from his wife – at the very least! Not exactly a bad return for a year – is it? But it sounds as though Amy’s mind is far from focused on the money – even though £3 million would be a substantial chunk out of her £10 million fortune. She just wants to keep her marriage on track saying, “We’re not splitting up, I don’t have a new boyfriend, I’m totally in love with Blake and I’ll be going to court with him every single day to support him throughout his case. I couldn’t be happier.”
