The X Factor Gag

It's been reported that X factor contestants were made to sign a document that prevents them from saying anything bad about Simon Cowell.

The contract is said to be 80 pages long and states that the two acts who do not win on Saturday are still bound to Simon Cowell's label for three months after the show - even if they are not used. Clearly in a bid to stop them cashing in from other record deal offers.

But just in case there is still interest in the contestants after the three month period, it's claimed that they will have to pay Cowell 5% of their earnings for a year.

You don't become a very very rich man like Simon without being clever about your contracts and clauses!

The X Factor final is set to be a massive affair, with acts such as Beyonce, Duffy and Seal said to be performing on the show. So who are you rooting for – JLS? Eoghan? Alexandra?
