Gordon's swelling excuses
When pictures emerged a couple of weeks ago of Gordon Ramsay with a massively swollen face it was reported that he'd had hair plugs and possibly other minor cosmetic surgery procedures.
This was further backed up when the papers dug up pictures of him leaving an LA cosmetic surgery practice with a strange plastic cap over his head - which is sometimes used after a hair transplant operation.
Gordon addressed the rumours in a recent interview on US TV and said that the real cause for his swollen face was an allergic reaction to a horse. But then he also said that he had been in Costa Rica recording a show for Channel 4 when he was attacked by gangsters who poured petrol all over him.
What?!
Gordon said, "I had petrol doused, gasoline poured all over my hair and I had a horrific infection."
He then went on to add further explanation for his face swelling saying, "I was in Napa for Christmas literally two weeks after the shoot and went horseback riding with the kids and had a horrendous allergic reaction to the horse, combined with the problems I had with my scalp - so it was just a hair nightmare."
These explanations are so outlandish that they must surely be true? Otherwise what a weird set of reasons to come out with just to cover up hair plugs!
