Teacher inspiration

Victoria Beckham has been chatting about her style again, and although many thought she had been attempting to channel Jackie O in her latest fashion incarnation, it seems she is actually taking inspiration from her school days.

The ex-Spice Girl told an interviewer recently that she has not succumb to the laid back LA style since living in the city. Instead she explains, "I am very British in my style. Think school teacher"

We don't remember our school teachers wearing skin tight shift dresses or sunglasses the size of saucers! But Victoria continued, "I love pencil skirts and fitted blouses, classic cut dresses and well fitted jeans mixed with classic tailoring."

Victoria has finally realised that her style is what has makes her so interesting - her singing was always secondary to what she was wearing or what new haircut she had. But would you agree that her style has evolved to that of a school matron?

Why doens't she just put on a couple of stone, wear comfy shoes and be quirky insted of taking herself so seriously - it must be hard work having to look good all the time - seriously no man is worth it. I have 3 kids and a husband who I adore and they adore me for being me warts n all
