Tiger speaks about Elin's anger

Tiger Woods has spoken for the first time about how his wife Elin felt when the news of his 16 affairs came out.

He told an American sports station Elin was, "Hurt, she was hurt , very hurt. Shocked. Angry." Probably an understatement!

He continued, "And you know, she had every right to be and I’m disappointed as everyone else in my own behaviour because I can’t believe I did that to the people I loved."

When asked why he cheated on his lovely wife, the mother of his children he said, “Well I had gotten away from my core values. I’d gotten away from my Buddhism. And I quit meditating. Stripping away denial and rationalism you start coming to the truth of who you really are and that can be very ugly. But then again, when you face it and you start conquering and you start living up to it. The strength that I feel now, I’ve never felt that type of strength.”

Hmmm.

No mention of whether he has managed to save his marriage but sources say he and Elin are working through things and look set to give it another try.
