What do you think of this?

So last night saw the elimination of one-time favourite Mary Byrne from The X Factor. That means we now officially have our finalists, though as with this entire series, we didn't get there without a fair amount of controversy.

Cher Lloyd has made it through again after a sing off with Mary Byrne, although there has been a lot of animosity towards her from the public. Fans are also angry that it was reported that last night's show would see the act with the lowest votes automatically leave - without giving the judges the opportunity to save anyone. But then it did go to the judges and they once again saved Cher.

Mary needn't worry too much though, Simon has commented that the semi-finalists are likely to all make at least a million pounds over the next few months.

Cher, One Direction, Rebecca and Matt will compete against each other next weekend to take the crown of this year's X Factor winner.

So what do you think of this lot - who's going to win and who would you LIKE to win?

Remember!!! save your cash - DON't vote and stop Mr Cowell raking it in. You know they (judges)are going to make the decision anyway!!!

mary was nothing but a karaoke singer, as are all the other contestants, except for rebecca and mat, and the overall winner should be rebecca, very unique voice and a very beautiful and classy looking girl

whats the point of viewers paying good money to vote when the biased judges have the final say.

Well, I think I would like Matt to win, think he has a lovely voice. Very Disappointed that CHER is STILL in, little cheryl tweedy looked at Simon whilst he was talking about Mary and I did think he was going to save Mary but he looked at Cheryl and said he wanted Cher to stay. Cher saw katie crying in sing offs so she did it and hey she stays. I think Mary knew she was going to be sent home.

Mary was, by far the best singer. Cher just makes me cringe. The judges are just ridiculous. Where has the nasty Simon Cowell gone? All the judges talk about is how they cannot wait to download the song on itunes, how they are amazing artists and would love to go and see them on stage. Mary probably knew that she was out as the judges are just interested in themselves and how much money they would make. The voting should definitely have gone to the public vote and if Mary was out with the voting then that would be fair enough. Know the show is getting people talking about it and that is what they want. Seems unfair as you get the impression they are using some of the acts as they probably aready know who is going to win - and it better not be crying, Cher!

i don't think it was fair for the judges to decide who was staying and who was going. So close to the final it should have been up to the public to decide who was in the final. If Mary had the least amount of public votes then fair enough it was time for her to go although i think Mary is a much better singer than Cher and she outshown Cher last night in the sing off. I am torn who i would like to see win. Rebecca, Matt and One Direction are all great although it would be nice to see a group win the competition for a change.

The number of votes cast by public should be given to viewers. The four supervisors should not be part of the judging process as they are prejudiced
