The OTHER royal wedding

This weekend saw another royal wedding take place, this time in Edinburgh, and though it was very different to Kate and Wills' do and extremely different to the Monaco fiasco (more on that later), it turned into quite the celebration!

The bride wore an off-the-peg dress (ie. it wasn't specifically designed for her) and the groom was pictured the next morning still in his traditional morning suit.

By all accounts it was a very relaxed and raucous affair with lots of drinking and revelry late into the night.

All the guests have commented since that the couple were so in love and how they are another great example of the future of the royal family being an all together fresher more modern establishment.

The fact that Zara and Mike and Wills and Kate are so in love only further highlights how awful it was seeing the new Princess of Monaco, Charlene Wittstock, sobbing her heart out at her wedding earlier this summer.

If you can stomach it, just watch the video and see how much Charlene appears to be dying inside. And what makes it worse is that the Prince of Monaco is so impatient and uncaring towards her as she struggles to keep the deep sadness off her face and chokes back her tears. In fact he seems positively disgusted by the poor woman who only days earlier is rumoured to have tried to fled the country but ended up having her passport confiscated by the officials. Really does make you look at our royals in a whole different light eh?
