The film's panned: Does that explain it?

So by now you may or may not have seen the film Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler have been tirelessly promoting The Bounty Hunter.

And whether you enjoyed it or not - most likely not - the critics have been quite severe in their absolute panning of the film.

The Telegraph say: 'As a romance, it has all the sizzle of a leftover kebab. As a thriller, it thrills not. But as a comedy, it’ll make you laugh. At it.'

Ouch

The American reviewers have been similarly harsh. So perhaps this explains why Jen and Gerard have been so desperate to make us believe their was something going on between them?

Perhaps they had caught a look at the film before they began promoting it and knew that they were going to have to pull out the big guns to make it a success.

And nothing works as well as a fake romance eh?
