'The trust is gone' says Tess

We were pretty shocked when the news broke about Vernon Kay's 'sexting' habits, so we can't imagine how wife Tess must be feeling.

The whole story is rather confusing, which makes us wonder if there is more to the tale than meets the eye.

So Vernon met a page three model named Rhian in a Bolton nightclub (the cliche is almost too much) and somehow - this part isn't clear - she ended up with his phone number. Did he give her it or did, as some sources say, she acquire it from a mutual friend? And if so, why did she go to all that trouble to get in contact with a married man?

Anyway.... we digress, back to the story.

A few months later the story breaks that Vernon has been sending Rhian sexy texts and communicating with her via Skype - which allows computer users to see each other whilst they talk.

So Vernon comes forward and admits that some of the jokey banter got a little out of hand, but was nothing more than something he would boast about with his friends down the pub. Charming. Remember this man has been married to the lovely Tess Daly for six years and has two children.

So shortly after down playing the Rhian situation, it comes out that there are four other women who have been enjoying 'sexting' with Vernon.

Vernon swears that he never had any physical relations with the women involved, but this will come as little comfort to the mortified Tess.

She has apparently been telling friends, "The trust is gone."

Newspapers are reporting that Tess was upset when it was one girl that was involved but now that it's five - she's worried more are going to come out of the woodwork.

However, friends are saying that there is no way the couple will break up, but they're going to need some time to work through the issue.

Vernon said today, "Tess is extremely upset about this and we're working through it. I've been an idiot and I've let my family down."

you can forgive? but never forget! the hurt and shame that it makes you feel, once the trust is out of a relationship, you'll constantly be on the lookout for it happening again, i know i do!! but i gave it a go for the sake of the kids, but that was wrong too, 17 years later i still dont trust him,,,,,

monogomy is not possible for men full stop, any woman who believes that is setting herself up for a fall, men need constant adoration for their egos, its not about sex its about their own self image needing constant boosting. sad but true.
