Competing heiress sisters

Tamara and Petra Ecclestone have stayed fairly under the radar for years but now they are ready to be seen. Currently in LA, the sisters are causing quite a stir in the city that is teaming with millionaires.

But these sisters are billionaires and they're not afraid to show their wealth. In fact, newlywed Petra, the younger of the two sisters at just 22, recently bought a house in LA for £91 million. Can you even get your head around that?

Not to be outshone, 27-year-old Tamara is determined to also buy property in the city. She and her boyfriend Omar Kyhami (pictured left) are looking for a home around the '£100 million mark'. Insiders claim that Tamara is keen to trump her sister with an even more ostentatious house.

Her boyfriend did nothing to quash these claims when he said in an interview, "The house we are looking at will make Petra’s house look like a guest house."

Goodness - all that money to be thrown down in the name of good old sibling rivalry!
