1 million tickets in 24 hours!
There is no way that the members of Take That could ever has guessed just how popular their upcoming tour would prove to be. But with Robbie back on board and the promise of new material and the greatest show on earth - people have been clambering to get their hands on tickets.
So much so that the official website crashed and over 1 million tickets sold in just 24 hours.
Pretty impressive for a band that were so worried about how their comeback would be received that they considered changing their name to The English, in a bid to separate themselves from their former incarnation.
Thank goodness they stuck with their original name.
So are you one of the lucky one million people to have gotten their hands on some tickets? And what do you make of how Robbie has slotted so effortlessly back into the line up? |

I have been a TT fan since the beginning. Never missed 1 concert! Loved The Circus tour best concert they ever performed! I didn't try for tickets this time around as I'm angry that Robbie is back! I saw him in concert @ murrayfield not long after splitting from TT he slagged Gary B & rest of band full concert! Lost all respect for him. Really disappointed the boys have allowed him back. Seems 2 me that Robbie only in it for the money :-( This makes me sad that they say they have moved on & sorted the past out! But I wouldn't trust Robbie! Watch ur back boys!!
----------------- I tried from 9 till 5 to get tickets on line & the phone, four times I had tickets but when I put all my details in it crashed. So very annoying! Never got tickets.
----------------- Big mistake for Robbie to rejoin TT, lost a lot of credibility, but am going to the tour just because he promises a solo set. Bring it on Rob
----------------- I was lucky enough to get tickets, with the help of alot of friends! I love Take That and have been a fan since the begining. They put on amazing shows which just get better & Better. But I have to say I am worried about how the return of Robbie will affect them, as even though he has settled down a bit he still is a bit of a loose cannon. Myself & many other fans are unhappy about his return. I'm just hoping it all works out for them.
----------------- The English would have been a disaster, cant wait for tour, after 4 hours spent online.
----------------- Why not??I could and im sure they could have sold more if available!
