Voting screw up

Strictly Come Dancing fans are not happy campers after Saturday night's mix up with the voting system.

Saturday was meant to whittle down the three final contestants to two for next week's final. But even though lots of fans voted and spent their hard earned cash, all three contestants were put through to the final round.

It's said that the mix up happened when the judges awarded Lisa Snowdon and Rachel Stevens full points and gave the only remaining man Tom Chambers one point. This meant that no matter how many public votes Tom received he would still end up in a dance off - but with whom?

Confused yet? Well the way the votes work between the judges' scores and the public vote, it didn't matter how many people phoned to save Tom - yet phone lines were still open for 2 hours.

Now angry fans are calling the show a 'fix' and demanding their money back. So far the BBC have said that there will be no refunds and all three acts will go through to the final.

The BBC have tried to make the best of the situation and appease angry viewers by saying that all votes from this week will go towards the final vote next week.

Why shouldn't he go in to a dance off? If the judges didn't think he was good enoug, and on Saturdays performance I agree, then tough!! The girls both did brilliantly and the only way that I can see there could have been a problem is if both the girls scored exactly the same number of public votes, and what are the odds on that??
