Simon not engaged anymore?

It was a bit of a shock when Simon Cowell seemingly turned into a smitten kitten after meeting his 'fiancee' Mezhgan a couple of years ago. It was even more of a shock when the renowned bachelor got engaged!

But then it all went very quiet on that front and both his mum and best friend Sinitta shared their doubts that Simon would ever actually go through with the wedding.

Now, in an interview on American radio with Howard Stern, Simon has given his biggest hint so far that he has no plans to marry.

Howard asked Simon if he was still engaged, there was an awkward silence and then Simon simply replied, "I'm not sure."

How can you not be sure if you're still engaged?

Howard was clearly just as confused by the reply as he said, "You seem embarrassed by the women you date, and I'll tell you why, they are lovely women, but yet you won't talk about about them. I'm a married man and if someone asks me a question about her I am proud to admit I have a relationship."

Howard continued, "Why is the question 'are you engaged?' so painful to you?"

To which Simon just replied that he would not be discussing the situation further.

It doesn't sound like Mezhgan is going to get her dream wedding and marriage to one of the richest men on TV after all does it?
