Simon forks out at Glasgow audition

Simon 'Money Bags' Cowell is known as being a TV meanie but we've have an inkling he's a big softie in real life, and he went some way to prove it last weekend.

At the Glasgow X Factor auditions one woman lost her purse and was really upset.

The officials at the arena sent out a message over the tannoy that a purse was missing and if anyone found it could they please hand it in.

When Simon found about about the mislaid purse he joined in the tannoying trying to help the lady.

When it still didn't turn up, Simon sent to an official from the arena to deliver something to the lady in question.

The woman was then shocked to be handed a wad of notes from the king of mean himself.

Awww, our soft spot for Mr Cowell has just doubled in size.
