Simon's matchmaker

Newly single Simon Cowell has had trouble finding a new lady love, but his best friend Sinitta is on the case. She is determined to find a worthy woman to keep Simon company.

Sintta, currently on holiday with Simon and her children in the Caribbean, spoke to a Sunday paper this weekend. She said, "Sex is so important to Simon - that's his trouble. It clouds his judgement. But I know what he really wants... someone to be his companion, his buddy, his mentor, but someone who can put up with his work ethic as well."

Since his split from long-term love Terri (pictured right) Simon has been taking Sinitta with him to events but Sinitta is determined to find him a proper girlfriend. Sinitta says, "I'm going to find him his perfect woman. He does have this problem, though. It's called a roving eye. Maybe he hasn't always been a faithful man, but with the right woman he would be. We just have to find her."
