Shane Pops The Big Question

After a whirlwind romance, Elizabeth Hurley and cricketer Shane Warne have announced their engagement.

The couple posed for a photograph outside the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews just moments before Shane Warne popped the question over dinner, and while he didn’t get down on one knee, fellow diners stood to applaud the happy occasion.

Hurley, who divorced ex-husband and textile heir Arun Nayar in June of this year, left the restaurant sporting a huge sapphire and diamond engagement ring. The actress, who is currently the face of Estee Lauder’s beauty campaign, later Tweeted “Thanks for all your congratulations.”

Sportsman Warne divorced his wife Simone in 2006 after ten years together, and his proposal to the model and actress comes after dating for just 10 months.
