Ricky experiencing a backlash?

Having previously been favourite to win, hunky Hollyoaks star Ricky Whittle is now struggling to get the votes on Strictly Come Dancing.

For the last few weeks Ricky has been top of the pecking order, a firm favourite with viewers, surprising everyone by not only being great eye candy but an awesome dancer too!

But then he broke up with his actress girlfriend of three years Carley (see right), there were rumours he was getting it on with his dance partner and then was arrested by the police for allegedly hitting a pap with his car.

Since these incidents Ricky has ended up in the final two twice - coincidence?
