Swayze: No treatment

Reports have reached us from the US that Patrick Swayze has stopped all of his cancer treatments as doctors allegedly tell him their is nothing they can do.

The 56-year-old (pictured right with his wife) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year and had been fighting the deadly disease with vigor.

But last month he was admitted to hospital with pneumonia. Although he has now been released from hospital, his health has suffered a setback.

A US magazine is reporting that all treatments have stopped and the main goal now is to keep Patrick as comfortable as possible. A source apparently said, "Patrick regards himself as a cowboy, and is determined to die with his boots on and no regrets."

This comes just a few weeks after he gave his first interview since being diagnosed. He said at the time, "There's more I want to do. Lots more. I want to last until they find a cure."
