OctoMom hates her babies?

When it was first announced that a woman in America had successfully managed to not only bring octuplets to term, but also to deliver all of the babies alive and well there was intense interest in the mother. At first the interest was celebratory, but as more details came out about the woman in question, Nadia Suleman, the more the interest turned into widespread disbelief.

She was a single mother to six children before going through fertility treatment and producing eight more.

It was also claimed that she purposely altered her appearance to try and look like her idol Angelina Jolie but she has always denied those claims and the claims that having so many children is just another way to emulate the actress.

Her mental state has been called in to question many a time, as has how on earth she can afford to raise 14 children in total when she has no job.

Yet all has been quiet on the OctoMom front for a while and so many presumed she was just getting on with raising her children. That is until she gave an interview to a US magazine this week making some very worrying commments.

Nadia said, "I hate the babies, they disgust me."

Her eight babies 'disgust' her?! What does that mean?

Oh but she continues, "My older six are animals, getting more and more out of control, because I have no time to properly discipline them."

She then explained to the magazine just how bad it gets in her household saying, "The only way I can cope is to lock myself in the bathroom and cry. Sometimes I sit there for hours and even eat my lunch sitting on the toilet floor. Anything to get peace and quiet. Some days I have thought about killing myself. I cannot cope."

Perhaps after realising how her comments sounded she tried to convince the magazine that she does in fact care about her children saying, "Obviously I love them - but I absolutely wish I had not had them."

There has been no word yet about whether the US authorities and Children's Services plan to step in.
