Naomi to Play Tragic Princess

Australian actress Naomi Watts has been signed to play the part of Princess Di in a compelling biopic about the last two years of her life.

Naomi Watts is said to feel very privileged over being chosen to play the lead: “It is such an honour to be able to play this iconic role – Princess Diana was loved across the world, and I look forward to rising to the challenge of playing her on screen.

The film, ‘Caught in Flight’ will go head-head-to-head with another biopic about Princess Di’s life, called ‘Diana: Closely Guarded Secret’. Charlize Theron and Carey Muligan have both been tipped to play the lead part in the competing movie.

It should be interesting to see which of the two movies will come out at the top!
