Mischa speaks about hospitalisation

Actress Mischa has stayed very quiet about her recent involuntary hospitalisation under a psychiatric hold, resulting in a lot of speculation. But now she has opened up a little about the experience in her first interview since she was released.

Mischa said, "I went through a tough spot where everything compounded on me, and it was like a perfect storm, like everything was happening to me at once. I was down in the dumps about everything there for a while."

She continued, "It didn't last that long... Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom about things and have to get the most stressed out just to feel better again. I got completely stressed out and couldn't handle everything, and now I feel really in control."

Mischa explained that the whole situation was made even worse by the pain she was feeling after a wisdom tooth operation.

She said, "It was a nightmare. I've never had surgery before, and it all went wrong and I had to have a second surgery and it almost delayed shooting."

Although there was no mention of drugs in her explanation which has been widely speculated to have kicked off the whole 'episode' we still think it was quite brave of the young actress to admit that everything all just got too much.
