Lindsay's dad sticks the knife in

Michael Lohan held a press conference this week to tell the world what he thinks of his daughter Lindsay.

As always, Michael prefers to involve everyone else in his dealings with his daughter rather than try to sort out the family issues in private.

The crux of the conference was that he is going to save Lindsay from herself and her enablers. He says that Lindsay has a problem with prescription drugs and he does not want her to end up as another statistic like Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson.

He goes on to say that, "This is not about publicity." Ummm yeah right!

He then said: "I think we all see and know what's happening with Lindsay. I get calls from her closest friends and it's worse than you can imagine. My daughter needs to let me help her. I don't want her to be a statistic. My heart goes out to people who have lost their children."

He continued: "If she refuses to do so I guess we will take out measures. I hope Lindsay is accommodating. We all know the truth. God knows the truth. I love her and I want her to be healthy. Her life will not be taken from me.'

If Lindsay is in trouble, does she really need her father publicly humiliating her like that?
