Mel could get jail time?

Thing have gone from bad to worse for Mel Gibson as it's been reported that the revelations about his relationship with ex-girlfriend Oksana could result in more than merely the death of his career - he could be facing jail time!

When Mel and Oksana split she said that the truth about what had gone on between the pair would be revealed, and a few weeks later suddenly various angry and abusive phone calls made by Mel were leaked.

But that wasn't the most damning part of the split details, it's been claimed that Mel hit Oksana and now he is awaiting his fate to find out if domestic violence charges are going to be brought against him.

If so he could be facing time behind bars.
