Mariah: Breath of fresh air

You can always count on good old Mariah to cheer up what has been a depressing couple of days in showbizland. She has always been a bit 'cuckoo' but in a strangely lovable way.

Even her well-documented diva antics such as refusing to walk up stairs instead insisting security guards carry her. Then there was the time she asked for a dozen fluffy kittens to play with backstage before a performance. And the time she did MTV's cribs and tried to workout on a cross trainer in six and half inch heels, priceless.

But what we love about Mariah is... at least she's quite open about living in her own little fantasy world of rainbows and butterflies and everyone being her personal slave!

That's what makes this video clip of her on the Home Shopping Network in the US like a total breath of light-hearted air compared to all the doom and gloom of late!
