And Louis has just found that out the hard way.

According to reports Louis had his heart set on Adele assisting him in choosing the final acts during the 'Judges Houses' section of the competition.

Adele was all for it and Louis was chuffed he had an ace up his sleeve in the form of one of the biggest British singers in the world at the moment being at his side on the show.

But then, apparently, as soon as Simon got wind of the plan he put his foot down and demanded Louis ditch Adele and instead agree to be assisted by Simon's old pal Sinitta instead.

Well... you can imagine that didn't go down too well with Louis but he has since agreed to Simon's demands.

But that didn't stop a 'friend' telling the Sunday Mirror this week: "Adele was really up for it and had agreed in principle. Louis was thrilled because he absolutely loves her. One minute he was lined up with an international star who’s the woman of the moment the next he was lumbered with an 80s has-been whose high point was the questionable number two hit 'So Macho'."

Ouch!
