Liz's affair with this guy?!

Well this came out of the blue. A tabloid paper reported this weekend that Liz Hurley was maybe seeing womanising Aussie Cricketer Shane Warne behind husband Arun's back.

The paper had pictures of the pair smooching in the street as well as entering and leaving a hotel at different times in different clothes.

Pretty damning stuff if you're trying to suggest an affair.

So this prompted Liz to take to her Twitter account and defend herself saying, "Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this."

Liz and Arun Nayer have been married since 2007, and up until now everything seemed to be going swimmingly between the pair.

No word yet as to whether Liz and Shane are officially a couple but Liz is said to be mortified by the gossip.
