Presley's twin joy

Lisa Marie, 40, has given birth to twin baby girls by Caesarean section, with her husband Michael Lockwood right at her side.

The little girls both weighed just over 5lbs and mum Lisa is said to be overjoyed.

Having first decided to keep her pregnancy a secret, Elvis' daughter was given no choice but to confirm she was expecting twins after her mother Priscilla let the cat out of the bag.

Lisa has two children, 21-year-old Riley and 16-year-old Ben from a previous marriage. Her other famous marriages did not result in any children, these were to Nicolas Cage and Michael Jackson.

But it seems she is much more content in this marriage, the couple wrote on Lisa's webpage to explain how they were feeling just before the birth saying they were, "beyond thrilled and blessed, elated and saturated in happiness."
