Lindsay's in trouble AGAIN

No sooner has Lindsay been released from an in-patitent rehab centre where she had been since October, than she's landed herself in hot water with the law again - and this time it's nothing to do with drugs or alcohol.

Instead, it's been claimed that she stole a necklace worth around $2000. A warrant was granted to search her home but before the cops arrived, Lindsay's assistant handed the necklace into an local police station.

Lindsay's side of the story is that the necklace was loaned to her by the jeweller, as is often the case with celebrities, and she was given a date that it had to be returned.

She then apparently forgot the exact date but had given it to her assistant to return, her assistant forgot as well and the next thing she knows there's a warrant out.

Now, had Lindsay not been the queen of excuses in the past (let's face it nothing has ever been her fault according to her, even all those times she failed her drug and alcohol tests) then maybe people would be more inclined to believe her.

It could well be that the jewelery store are looking to make a name for themselves in the press and Lindsay is an easy target - but then it wouldn't be the biggest shock in the world if she had just intended to keep it either!
