Kerry and the married man?
Sarah Green, the wife of Kevin Green who trained Kerry Katona last year, gave an emotional interview this weekend in which she explained that she blames Kerry for the breakdown of her marriage.
Kevin Green is a part-time fitness instructor who worked with Kerry at a weight-loss bootcamp she took part in last year. At the time there were lots of rumours surrounding how close Kerry got to Kevin, with suggestions that the pair shared a few kisses. At the time Kerry was still married to Mark Croft and Kevin was married to Sarah.
Sarah declared in this weekend's interview: "I am only getting divorced because of Kerry Katona and I want people know that."
Sarah explained, "Before my husband met Kerry Katona we were happy and we were a family. Now my children are going to grow up without their father living with us and I am facing the prospect of divorce at the age of 25. I begged Kerry to leave my family alone."
Sarah went into a lot of detail in the interview, first of all about how her husband took an instant dislike to Kerry when she first arrived at the bootcamp saying she was lazy and a diva. But his attitude softened towards her and one day when he arrived home he told Sarah he thought their marriage was over.
Sarah says, "He walked in and was crying as he told me our marriage was over. He told me I’d lost too much weight and was too thin and that he didn’t find me attractive anymore. He said he didn’t see me in a sexual way. I was stunned and asked if there was anyone else. He swore on our children’s lives that there wasn’t and said he was moving out."
However it later came out that he had developed feelings for Kerry.
After Mark and Kerry split she did numerous interviews about how fond she had grown of Kevin, Sarah says seeing Kerry constantly refer to her husband was heartbreaking.
But Sarah says that her friends bolstered her when they found out what had caused her and Kevin's split. Sarah said, "I could deal with another woman. But Kerry Katona? She is a mess. Friends on the Naval base even said, 'Come on, you’ve got to laugh, he gave up you and his family for that?' If it wasn’t so sad it would be funny. But I wouldn’t be going through this is if Kerry hadn’t been so selfish. I am a private person and a mother but it makes me so angry to see Kerry Katona being portrayed as a survivor and victim when she ruined my life."
What do you make of all this? And do you buy this new persona that Kerry is presenting?
