MTV drop Kerry

It was a bad idea to begin with - to revive Kerry Katona's singing career and film her progress, and now it seems MTV finally agree.

It began with MTV pitching a TV show idea to strapped-for-cash Kerry, which involved her flying to Nashville to work with some of the music greats. She would then try to relaunch her singing career, having missed out the first time round when she left former band Atomic Kitten just before they hit the big time!

However, MTV sources have said that the show is no longer on their agenda because, "Kerry is in no fit state to make a show. 'We have to wait and see how she fares in the immediate future. We want to see if she can start taking care of herself."

Yet they saw no problem filming her smoking and drinking whilst pregnant, giving birth to son Max and then undergoing numerous plastic surgery procedures.

She has also been dropped from her magazine column and her future with Iceland looks to be on shaky ground. But do these companies really want to allow Kerry time off to get better or have they just used her all along and are now stabbing her in the back?
