Katy and Russ in therapy

Oh no, let's hope this is just a preventative measure on the part of Katy Perry and Russell Brand because we love them together! Reports are emerging from the US that after just three months of marriage the couple are seeking couples' therapy.

According to sources it's been a busy few months for the pair and now they're worried that spending too much time apart could allow a rot to set in in their marriage and so are asking friends for recommendations of good therapists.

Rumours are also abuzz in the US that the trouble really began when Russell posted an unflattering early morning picture of Katy in bed grimacing with no make-up on, which he proceeded to mock along with many other people. Katy credits the song 'Teenage Dream' to being written about Russell and how loved he makes her feel, in particular the line, "You think I'm pretty without any make-up on."

Katy has spoken in the past about feeling ugly and being convinced that without piles of make-up on she looked hideous, but meeting Russell changed all that as he made her feel beautiful without or without her slap.

So perhaps the picture was indeed a bit of a sore point for Katy? Let's hope this pair work it all out, we've been rooting for them!
