Katy's mum to do tell all book!

It's a well-known fact that Katy Perry's parents are staunchly religious, Katy too holds religion dear to her heart and has spoken out in the past against blasphemy being used in pop songs (mainly in reference to Lady Gaga) and has a tattoo on her wrist that says 'Jesus'.

However, Katy's mum Mary, an evangelist pastor, is about to bring out a tell-all book about her daughter.

Now, it would be easy to jump to conclusions and presume the motivations behind the decision would be to make a quick buck, but Mary says it's more about setting the record straight.

The proposal for the book says, "Katy's success has impacted on [Mary's] ministry in negative and positive ways. She loves her daughter very much and is very proud of her… but disagrees with a lot of the choices she makes in her career."

Should make for interesting reading - wonder what she makes of her daughter's choice of hubbie?
