They said it'd be a disaster...

Oh no, as everyone thought it would, Katie's wedding to Alex turned into a bit of a disaster, in fact it turned into a total disaster! Sources say that from start to finish anything that could go wrong... did!

The main issue was the security. Apparently Katie had originally secured a £1 million magazine deal, which then would have ensured super tight security as the mag's main focus would be making sure no one spoiled the exclusive picture deal.

But sources say that deal fell through when Katie failed to get enough confirmations from celebrity guests - and that is half of the draw for these tabloid magazines who pay mega bucks for weddings.

So Katie then had to appoint security herself who found it impossible to deal with the intense paparazzi attention - so a massive bust up ended up erupting outside!

At one point, when Katie arrived in an 80s A Team van, the bride even got hit in the face by a camera.

However that didn't stop Katie trying to make the most of things and after the ceremony she told her guests, "Despite everything that has happened outside earlier, I want everyone to have a good time."

No word yet as to whether it actually got any better as the evening went on but we'll keep you posted.
