Katie holds crisis talks with her mum

Sources close to the star say that since returning from her infamous week in Ibiza it has dawned on her that she is losing any scrap of public sympathy she had when the split was first announced.

She met with her mum Amy and apparently revealed that the reason she had behaved so badly in Ibiza was because she had been 'trying to shove things in his face and make him feel jealous'. Meaning that cavorting about with a male model was all a bid to make Pete jealous. Now she wants to start dealing with things better and needed her mum's advice for what to do next.

Katie also told a Sunday newspaper, "I'm still so angry with what he's done and I'm not going to take back what I've said about him. But I do understand now that this is hard on him too. I want people to look at me as a good mum for my kids but I've been having the biggest crisis of my personal life ever, so it's been hard."
