Katie and the six-week divorce

Friends are saying that Katie has given up on the idea of getting back together with Pete and is now willing to grant his wishes for a quickie divorce.

This weekend saw Katie looking shockingly thin as she took to the catwalk at The Clothes Show Live. Although she's been smiling in most pictures, always trying to put on a brave face, the weight-loss gives away just how hard the last three weeks have been on the 31-year-old.

Sources close to Katie admit that she is still reluctant to give up on her marriage but now feels as though she has no other choice than agree to what Peter wants.

Divorce proceedings can often be long drawn out affairs but if both parties agree to it, Katie and Peter could be officially divorced from each other in as little as six weeks.

Peter signed a pre-nuptial agreement when the pair wed four years ago which means he won't be entitled to any of Katie's money.

However sources now claim that agreement could now be in jeopardy because the couple have since had children which may give him rights to some of the rumoured £40 million fortune.
