I guess Katie is not doing herself any favours by way of her recent public behaviour but I am surprised at the backlash she has received from the public and media. Are we all forgetting that Pete walked out on her - he chose to leave his wife and family. Katie comes across like a hard-face bitch but surely people can see through this as just her protective shell. She is one of the most insecure people I have seen and her self-esteem has hit rock bottom. To cope, she has found someone who she thinks loves her but sadly he will be using her for his 5mins of fame. I wish a real friend or family member would just spend some time with her over the next few months and she will realise she's best off without Pete (or any other man for the time being) as her kids will always love her, no matter what.
