At first she seemed adamant that the main reason for her heading to the jungle for a second time was 'closure'. And while that may be true to a certain extent, any woman who's gone through a break up and watched her ex become the hero whilst she is vilified, knows how tempting it is to try and win the 'game'.
Since Katie went back in on Monday night she has been given every challenge, as she herself predicted would happen.
She has tried her best but finds she's not quite as fearless as she was when she was younger, and has suffered from a couple of panic attacks.
Katie herself says, "Six years ago I would have been game for anything but I just can’t do it anymore. I’m just a wimp."
She also asked her jungle mates what they thought of her having met her and got to know her more. And Kim Woodward got right in there telling her, "You’re a publicity seeker. You live and die for publicity and you do it well. "
Kim continued, "Katie, you love it darling. You love it and I don’t blame you. For some reason you fascinate the papers. Go for it as long as you can but don’t pretend you’re not causing a lot of it please. Because you cause it all. And that’s telling you straight. You asked and I’m telling you. I’m not blaming you."
Tell us what you've made of Katie's time in the jungle so far... is your attitude towards her softening?
