Katie Price: assaulted as a child

Katie Price is famed for her honesty, and up until now we thought we already knew everything there was to know about her, until her admission on a new TV show.

During an interview with Piers Morgan Katie confesses that at the age of six she was assaulted in the park whilst playing hide and seek with a friend.

Katie told Piers that a man cornered the two little girls and exposed himself then touched them, but luckily older children in the park saw what was going on and scared the man away.

Katie also talked about the photographer who, when she was just 13 years old, tried to take inappropriate pictures of her.

Piers Morgan’s Life Stories airs this Sunday on ITV.

For the love of something putrid, why on earth do people admire this woman so much? She slags everyone off, even Jade about dying in public but then - all jade has done has stolen her limelight, she has a team that rings the paps in order to take 'drunken nickerless' shots just to be in the mags and this is supposedly what teen girls look up to? I don't believe she was abused, touched her where - on the shoulder? Did she or her friend tell someone after all - she has got a big mouth and innappropriate shots - of what exactly - her without any makeup on - c'mon, enough of the fake, lady above - real story and incredibly REAL experiences, she's an embarrassment to the UK

If this has really happened, then I feel bad for her. It happened to me at the age of 7. However, she has been so open and honest about everything else in her life - how many books has she penned about her life? And now she gives out this story? Not sure I believe her
