Uh oh this is getting serious

At this point we are getting used to Katie Price and Peter Andre bickering back and forth via the press, but since their daughter Princess burned herself recently, things have taken an even uglier turn between the couple, and here was us thinking it wouldn't be possible to get any uglier.

Here's a quick recap of what's been going on: Princess burned her arm whilst on holiday with her mum and grandmother, Pete was unhappy when Princess went to visit him, he saw the burn and realised he hadn't been told about it. He then had a little rant in his magazine column about it. Katie had her own little rant about it in a statement. Next thing Katie is being investigated by the police who have apparently been tipped off that the burn is worse than Katie is letting on.

So that's up to date, now have a look at what Katie has written on her website today:

"I don’t want to say any more about Princess's burn, or the News of the World’s claim that it is a ‘bad’ burn. Shamefully someone has contacted the police about this and I have co-operated fully and provided evidence of just how minor this incident really was. I am deeply saddened that it would appear my ex-husband would deliberately choose to ring me and make a fuss about a minor injury to Princess and allow it to be filmed and recorded for his TV show. This appears to reveal his true motivation. Now a recording of that conversation has been provided to the press. I am not sure how this is meant to help the children, or is putting them first."

Oooh, this is getting serious.

During the phone call that was being recorded for Pete's new show, Katie became enraged and apparently said she hoped Pete would crash his car. She also addresses this in her statement:

"I became aware during that conversation that I was being recorded which, given the circumstances, upset me as it was clear that the intention was again to use the incident with Princess to portray me as a bad mother while providing footage for his TV show. I admit I reacted angrily to that, but of course I do not really wish my ex-husband any physical harm despite the lengths he would appear willing to go to in order to make me look bad. I do feel it's time he stopped constantly slagging me off and consider how that might impact on our children and put them first. If I ran to the press every time Princess came home with a split lip or Junior a rash I am sure I could portray myself as sympathetic but I am sure my ex-husband would quite rightly feel that was being very unfair. I do not, I accept that children have minor accidents as they grow up and that is not something to try to point score about – I wish my ex-husband would do the same."

What do you make of all this then?

This is becoming a total joke - who cares!!! Used to quite like Pete but think he's using his kids to try and score points against Jordan - I mean come on how sad is that? Think they all need to grow up a bit and think of their children - in my eyes straightening a child's hair is wrong and so is highlighting a child's hair.

Just fed up with Katie constantly trying to moan about everything - grow up and get a life!! Stop bickering and put your kids first. If it was the other way round I'm sure she would be trying to score points against Peter.
