Jennifer returns

Jennifer Hudson returned to the spotlight last night after lying low for months due to the awful family tragedy in October.

The 27-year-old singing sensation made a defiant comeback at The Super Bowl in the US.

Taking to the stage in front of millions of viewers Jennifer sung a gospel version of the Star Spangled Banner.

Jennifer had stepped out of the spotlight after her family were involved in a shooting which resulted in the tragic death of her mother and brother.

A nationwide search was then commenced for the singer's 7-year-old nephew, but he was unfortunately found dead a few days later in the back of a 4x4.

Jennifer's estranged brother-in-law has been charged with the murders.
