Jennifer's cancer battle

One of the nation's most loved comediennes has been secretly battling the deadly disease for months now, but the good news is... it looks like she may have won the fight!

Jennifer Saunders, pictured left with her daughter, found a lump in her breast nine months ago. And when she went to have it checked out she was told she had breast cancer.

But thankfully she was given the all clear last month and could celebrate her birthday with a clear bill of health!

having fought the disease myself, sadly mastectomty,heavy chemo and radiotherapy were my options but like jennifer, i kept it pretty low key apart from those who knew, i had my reconstruction last yr, a 9hour op but worth it, i await more surgery, but like others im alive and lucky to be.xxxxxxxx
