Jack's family's disgust at 'tribute'

As the young star clings on to her last few days alive her family are said to be outraged that a magazine has ran a tribute issue to Jade before she is gone.

Sources close to the family say Jack's mother in particular is very upset that the magazine in question has ran an issue this week with the headline: Jade Goody Official Tribute, 1981-2009.

The front cover is black and features eight pictures of Jade with dates on them.

Jade's mother Jackiey has not yet commented on the issue but those close say this was the last thing she needed as she visibly shows the strain of watching her daughter die.

According to reports Jade is far too ill for any visitors now other than immediate family and very close friends. Jade's Celeb Big Brother Co-star Shilpa Shetty has flown in from India to visit Jade became close friends during the summer. It seems any controversy or animosity that Shilpa may have felt towards Jade was cleared up well before she was diagnosed.

Oh how morbidly disgustingly! - OK have jumped in before the poor woman has ended her suffering which (to me) they have given up on poor Jade. I used to like to magazine but can't see myself buying it in future as the editor has total disregard for peoples feeling.

As a good will gesture and to keep it's customers after this heartless prank I hope OK magazine are donating ALL and I mean ALL proceeds to Jades two boys......

I bought this thinking that it would have all the nice things about Jade and the things we will all remember about this very brave young woman. I was disgusted when I read it!! Everyone spoke of Jade as though she was already gone.

Jade will be sorely missed as a bubbly young woman who made everybody laugh and wasn't afraid to say what she thought and not what she was fed to say. She shouldn't be exploited in this fashion regradless of the deals she had made to ensure the finances are in place for her sons. The magazines will have the opportunity to publish tributes when she has said goodnight to this world

Sadly this is what happens when you sign away your life to this sort of magazine. I know Jade only wanted the best for her sons but it seems the people who edit this magazine have no sensitivity at all. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this very sad time.

Dont buy it then at 19:58 on 19th Mar 2009

The person who thought it was a good idea is probably the same person who orchestrated the whole media circus and sold wedding and christening rights. Jade wants to make as much money for her sons as possible - so who says this is not part of that deal? I would rather leave my kids with under a million and the privacy they deserve rather than try to make it millions and expose myself and them to the public at such a private time. Jade of all people knows that money can't buy you everything. All the money in the world cannot save her from a very tragic end to her life. Don;t blame the magazine - they just pay the person being photographed and charge the customers.

Sadly, it's aimed at the 'target market' and Ms Goody made a pact with the devil in dealing with these people. Irrespective of how Ms Goody sadly passes away, it's never going to be done in a subtle or tasteful way.

I agree this was completely thoughtless, they should have it ready for when the time is right

I can understand that one person may think it's a good idea but surely there are a number of people involved in making an editorial decision of this importance. Are they all so insensitive that they can't see beyond their own profit margins??

I was shocked when I saw it, in fact I checked the cover, thinking I had missed the new that Jade was gone. I hope the proceeds are given to her/her sons, and the person who decided to run it sacked.

I agree with Jade and her family on this one, I thought it was awful when I saw the advert on the tv for a tribute to her life when her life isn't actually over yet! Sadly we all know that Jade hasn't got long now to live but putting on the mag 1981-2009 must be heartbreaking for her family! I will not be buying this magazine, that is for sure!

That issue of Ok was crap anyway.

What tactless person thought that would be a good idea. Where do these people keep their brains!!
